Pay BillIndependent Health received notification of a data incident at Conduent, a former vendor partner, that may involve current and former Independent Health members.
In the past, Conduent provided claims auditing and payment activities as a vendor for Independent Health.
According to Conduent, an unauthorized third party accessed the company’s systems between Oct. 21, 2024, and Jan. 13, 2025. The data accessed may have included name, Social Security Number, medical information, and health insurance information. Not every data element was present for every individual.
